Aussie when can I take him jogging?

I just got an Australian shepherd, he is 8 weeks now, after all his vaccinations i am going to take him on light walk. But I am wondering what age should I take him jogging? Should I wait until he is 1 years old? I plan on taking him to agility training after basic training. He is so smart, he is been with us for 3 days, and already I taught him how to sit and give paw. He is AKC registered because I don't believe in backyard breeding.

I suggest you get him used to walking on the lead first. Just walk around and get him used to it for a few weeks. But I think it's good to get him used to jogging when he's still young, because then he'll be used to it and he'll be really good. Make sure he behaves well on the lead - you don't want him to be pulling you around the path everywhere!
So I'd say just get him used to walking for about three weeks? Four? If you take him out every day then that has to be plenty of time to train him well before walking. But he sounds like an incredibly fast learner (it took my five year old cocker spaniel weeks to learn give paw XD) so perhaps two or one week. Hope I could help =)

Looking to start a nonprofit rescue, any name ideas?

I'm in the beginning process of starting a rescue for mixed breed puppies, does anyone have any name ideas? I was thinking perhaps right start rescue, I have included the beginning of the first draft of our mission statement:

We support mandatory spay and neuter laws, but oppose euthanasia as a form of population control.
We believe all puppies deserve an equal chance at life whether their father is the next door neighbor's mutt, or an AKC champ.
