Help with valentine's idea!! guys & girls opinions please! Is this okay? Any Suggestions?

Okay - So i'm trying to think of something really creative and sweet for my beau this year. I know that he's taking me to dinner because we're doubling with some really good friends. After dinner I had planned to go back to the hotel (i'm staying there since we're long distance and he's flying me in to see him for the weekend) where me and a friend had already set up candles, music, strawberries and champagne I'm was going to get him either this necklace from James Avery that he was hinting about or some new cologne (also hinted). I just feel like there's more i can do... any suggestions? or do you think this is good?

aww, that sounds soooo cute. but if you really wanted to go all out for valentine's day, maybe you should write him a song/peom. even if you cant write well, just make it from the heart. it will be something really cute, and he will keep it forever. so maybe in 30 years or more, he looks back at the poem/song, and he realizes how much you love him. i hope this helps and good luck!
