Cast Iron Damper

I have an old house and the drainpipe is plugged. I need to remove the clean-out plug. It is cast iron & stuck?

I have a big pipe wrench, but it is not enough. I can't locate my piece of pipe to get leverage because of all the snow outdoors. How do you remove a cast iron clean-out plug that hasn't moved in fifty years and has been half covered in damp dirt. Do you heat it with a torch??? Beat on it with a hammer? Get five feet of leverage? I am really thinking of removing all the cast iron and replacing it with CPVC. Thanks.

Don't hit it if it is truly cast iron - it is brittle, especially when cold. Repeated heating and cooling is the traditional way or you could try getting some WD40 in the joint. Have you tried chemical cleaners (they are usually caustic soda based).
