ok so for textiles i have to design cushion covers and make them in school but i need i ideas

so wat can i do IT MUST BE SQUARE!! and yeah helllpppp

You have already listed what you are going to do. A hand embroidered musical note with sequins in a trendy color. You can buy a pillow form in the fabric store and cut 2 squares of material big enough to vover it plus a seam allowance. Sew the together on 3 sides and tuck the pillow for inside, then sew up the 4th side by hand.

Hamster Bedding problem?

my hamster is living in about a 2 square foot cage right now. for christmas he got a 9 square foot cage and i am going to attach the 2 foot cage to the 9 foot cage but i cant afford to carefresh for 11 square feet every week so my plan is to only use carefresh in the two foot cage but i need something in the 9 foot cage. i dont want to use aspen because some new studies have shown dangerous to small animals using it. he pees in one spot in the carefresh so absorbancy is not needed. all i need is s cheap comfortable bedding that can cover a large area. just something to cushion falls and dig in. any suggestions? maybe ripped up newspaper or ripped up toilet paper? any sugestions please, ill pick a best

We keep our hamster in a large plastic storage container with tallish sides (about 15") and about 20" x 40". I have the same problem with the cost of the white Carefresh, so I just put in a very thin layer, some places might not even have any coverage (especially under the wheel), and build up the corners. She has a corner toilet filled with chinchilla sand.

She rearranges what Carefresh she does have, and the very minimal or lack of bedding in other areas doesn't seem to bother her.

I give her little sheets of toilet paper as blankies. She loves to play with toilet paper. She sometimes chews it into little Carefresh-looking pellets, and sometimes pulls it over her as a blanket.

I've run a roll of toilet paper through the shredder at work, and it makes outstanding bedding, but this is time consuming. I assume it also adds a lot of wear and tear on the shredder.

I've also heard that shredded unprinted newspaper is really good.
