my dog is 4 yrs old and has nevr peed in the house put since we moved he is going in our computer room!!!?

he peed on the carpet so i rubbed his nose in it, spanked him and put him outside but now he is peeing on the tile next to the computer room and again i rubbed his nose in it, spanked him and put him outside! he doesn't pee on the electric stuff or anything just pees on the tile or near the walls (and not anywhere else but the computer room!!!) we take him out like every 2-3 hours and its nevr been a problem before and my mom thinks that it might just be the new house and that it will pass but it doesn't seem that way!!! how can i fix this pee problem?!?!?!

I agree that there are probably traces of pee in the computer room that your dog is smelling. He is in effect claiming the room from the other dog. To get him to stop, use an enzyme cleaner like Nature's Miracle to eradicate any traces of pee where he pees. If you want to make sure all the old pee is gone, Nature's Miracle sells a black light that will make any pee stain glow. My old pet supply store would lend one out if you bought some of the cleaning liquid.
