Makeup help!?

I'm asian, typical chinese with black eyes and black hair. My skin tone is between medium-fair What colours of eyeshadow will actually complement black eyes. Videos on application of eyeshadows don't normally suit us because we don't have deepset eyes.

I also have problems with eyeliner and mascara. I have oily eyelids so the black eyeliner tend to smudge to the bottom area of my eyes after a few hours making me look as though I have eyebags. My lashes are also stick straight and short and I can't really curl them well.

Also what colour of blush would look good?

It will be good if you guys can recommend me any products that will work.

no offence but don't go with what "selene.." said.
1. eyeshadows.
warm cocoas will look great on you. apply on the whole lid will be fine. also golds look good so if you want you can apply it in the crease to lift the eye, this is an especially good technique for asian eyes as it opens up the eye more.

2. lashes/eyeliner
if you have oily skin you need to matte it out. you can do this with loose powder. shu eumora is really good. jsut apply on the whole lid and the apply the eyeliener. or if you want an easier solution just apply after the eyeshadow or apply foudnation or concealor first as a base.
if you can't curl your lashes just apply a volumising or defining or extender lash mascara. fibre wig is a good mascara as it is made up of particles whicih build up on eachother making your lashes longer. any volumising mascara from covergirl or maxfactor is great too.

3. blush.
i'd suggest just a pale pink will look good on your yellow undertones. but i think for you a bronzer will look better. this will warm up your complexion a bit. just sweep up the cheekbones to define them more. especially for you as you have great cheekbones.

Can i add a wick to a candle?

I have a medium sized candle in a jar. It is not even half way used, but the wick moved to the side and is now just a small black smudge that is impossible to light. This was a limited edition candle and my favorite and now i can't use it. Is there any way to make a wick, like stick a toothpick in the center and light it? Or what can i do to light my cinnamon layered candle?! ten points for a helpful answer, thanks :]

Heat a long piece of metal like a skewer, coat hanger etc and make a hole in the middle, to the bottom of the candle candle. Put a piece of string in the hole, and push it down with the piece of metal. Heat the piece of metal again and melt the wax around the string, and into the hole. Cut the string off to 1 inch and light it. The string will draw the wax up and you will have a new wick.
