How To Select The Right Type Of Essential Oil Diffuser For Your Needs

Fan-Based Electric Diffusers Fan-based electric diffusers like the Spa Scenter are a great way to fragrance a big place. Like the Scent Ball and Car Scenter, they also use cotton pads though round and larger. Essential oils are applied to the cotton pad in varying amounts depending on desired strength of the scent, this uses a fan to blow the fragrance instead of heat. These units run somewhere in the $30 to $50 range and are quiet  the perfect choice for creating a  spa environment.

Can I use different type of oils to make lava lamp other than vegetable oil?

And also, is it safe for Scented Oils (which are for diffusers) to be added in an oil lamp to be lit? I was assuming If i make my own oil lamp It will help give off a better smell other than smokey scent.

Sure you could use silcon or mineral oil, but it would be FAR more expensive than using vegetable oil - that's why it's used.

just be sure that you don't use a material that isn't too volatile - has a low vapor pressure (use the CRC handbook if necessary).
