Oil Fragrance Cosmetic

Can you use oil burning fragrance for making your own cosmetics?

when making cosmetics in the ingredients it always says to use essential oil, but can you use fragrance oil for oil burners?

I wouldn't. They are not cosmetic grade.

Fragrance in Organic Makeup?

I've noticed how hard it is to find organic makeup and haircare without any fragrance on the label. My question is, does the fragrance in organic cosmetics like burt's bees and Yes to Carrots contain synthetic chemicals like musks, or is the fragrance made of essential oils? Is there any way to find out? Thank you!

It should say on the label. I tried physician's formula organic wear and the minute i opened it, it smelled like crushed veggies (not good).
I looked on the label, and sure enough in the ingredients there were fragrances added.

If a company doesn't put it right on the label you want to go to the ingredients and see. And if there are a bunch of words that you can't even pronounce, maybe you can take a crack at the sample and give it a sniff..
