To be safe, it is a good idea to stick with wireless speakers that were designed to be used with computers.

Most wireless speakers have a frequency of around 900 MHz. If you have other wireless devices in your home, especially cordless phones or baby monitors, you should check the frequency used by the wireless speakers before you buy them to make sure they won't interfere with anything else you are using. If the speakers use the same frequency as another device, you may get some feedback.

Most models of wireless speakers operate from batteries but also include an AC adaptor. If you know that you will not have access to an electrical outlet where you intend to use your speakers, you'll want to double-check to ensure that the speakers can use batteries for power.

Wireless computer speakers can enable you to play your music in a different room or outside of the house. This capability can come in handy, especially when you have guests over who might want music in an area that is not close to your computer. Plus, by using wireless speakers, you can get rid of some of the tangled up wires around your computer desk.

Background Noise on my Wireless Phone and Stereo?

I have a Sharper Image 3-cd stereo hooked up to a 6 speaker powered subwoofer system. . When I am playing CDs, radio, or something on my auxiliary cable, I get a background noise. Western station 98.7 to be exact. It has started to get really annoying. Sometimes it plays louder than the music I am playing. Just when I think I can escape, the cordless phone rings. I can hear it there too. On the phone, I can hardly hear the person on the other line.

Is there some way of eliminating this background noise on either device, or perhaps just lowering its volume? Any suggestions would be well appreciated.

If the radio and the cordless phone are in the same room, try moving the radio or the phone into another room, or move it to the other end of the house, if this does not work i do not know what else to say.
