Wedding theme dilemma.... Ladies please help!!!?

I am planning for a winter wedding. My Wedding date is January 21 so it will be in winter. I am getting married in a japanese museum in sunny florida. We will be in the gardens surrounded by all types of beautiful japanese plants and flowers. My colors are ivory and a deep red apple color (David's Bridal Apple). I adore these colors and want to lean more toward the red coloring. For my favors and stationary I have chosen cherry blossom as a compliment. My dilemma falls on the background of the cherry blossom which is all white. The blossoms themselves are pink. I have come across some red and black backgrounds but not enough to where I can plan and find the things I need. I have even considered a pink and chocolate theme against the red decor, but I thought that would be too much. Are these two patterns too contrasting? Or will it somehow fit together?

Personally, I would go simple and use an ivory background to compliment your colors. Also because it's easier to read with the contrast of the dark on the white.
