Rubber Backing Mat

My rubber matting has become bent from storage, is there an easy way to get it back to normal?

I have rubber matting for my horse's stable, which I didn't need last year. It was bent round and tied, and left for a few weeks, and when I untied it, it had a big curve in it. I put my feed bins and come other heavy items on top of it, but it didn't have much effect. Is there a way I can get it to go back down on the floor, so its level?! Thanks!!

Bend it round the other way and tie it up and pour boiling water over it this will sort it out

Our New rubber backed bath mats have turned white lino yellow, why? How to clean, bleach & comet don't work.

The floors were good several months ago. The Mats were bought in the summer. The only thing that has changed that we can think of is we have being changing bathroom sprays, since we find they all seem to smell as bad as what they ar supposed to cover up. Anyone else notice this problem?

The mats contain an improperly cured rubber which is reacting chemically with the floor covering. May be made worse by the cleaning agents. Only answer is get rid of them or use them only on a tile floor.

The only way to get the stain off the floor is to carefully scrape or sand the surface until the color is removed, then repolish. The problem there is that the white layer is not very thick, and if you are not lucky, the stain will go all the way through. So be prepared to live with the stain or consider that you may have to replace the lino.

Try scraping a little with the blade of a very sharp knife. If you get through the yellow and see white, you are in luck. Be patient, won't make you happy to scrape most of it and then go too far.
