Satellite Dish Covers: One that looks like a window mount air condtioner ?
My brother lives in an apartment complex, doesn't want to spend a fortune on cable, but his apartment complex doesn't allow him to mount a satellite dish on the side of the building. It does allow him to have an air conditioner in the window. What I need to find is an enclosure that looks like an air conditioner window box, but can mount a Dish or DirectTV dish inside and still get a decent signal.
Can anyone help?
If you live in the US check the following link to understand your rights. Apartment facilities are not allowed to have any statement in a lease that overrides these rules. If he has a lease and they included this wording either threaten a lawyer or the language makes the lease void and he can get out of it. Most places have a hidden exclusivity contract with the cable companies for monetary gain. Stand up for your right to fair access.
