Shelf Brackets Mounts

Tempered Glass in My Bathroom?

I am installing a glass countertop in my bathroom, mounted to the wall with a ( http://www.amoredesigns.com/products/glace-24-shelf-bracket.html ) and was wondering if I put alittle extra support by installing brackets, does the countertop have to be tempered? I'm alittle worried about all the weight on the front side of the glass. Thanks

If you will read the web site they specify their own shelving that is tempered for use with this support.

Built-In Hole Brackets.?

I'm trying to' hang/Mount and secure a large Handmade solid heavy pine rack to' the wall of My kitchen, and i'm thinking of drilling out
holes in it's timber frame big enough for a screw head to' slied in and down and lock on its vertical sides,two on each sides total of four Built-In hole brackets,does anybody think this is a good idea and how to' go about it,and what Are these brackets called
as they will be' screwed in to'. The back of the unit over the hole and eventually the screw head will go in and lock secure.
I have done this before with a book shelf,
but the holes and brackets were already built-in and all I had to' di is drilling four holes in the wall with raw plugs and screws
and bingo job done the book shelf locked in
and secured it.where di I look for these brackets and what Are they called?

Hey Paolo, I’m Blake from The Home Depot. It sounds like you are looking for something called a Keyhole Hanger. These should be available in most hardware stores.

You also asked about milling a keyhole hanger into the frame of your pine rack. I would generally advise against this as the milling requires some advanced woodworking tools and skills. I would also caution you on the capacity of the hangers you are considering, most of these are not rated to hold heavy objects. The ones linked will hold 20lbs each.

You could alternatively use French cleats which can hold up to 200 Lbs!
