I ahev a serious problem with my Tippmann 98 Custom paintball gun?

When I played the other day, I found a big problem with my gun. When I fire, the bolt drops forward and the gun makes a sputtering sound as if I am out of CO2. Sometimes the gun does fire, but most of the time I experience the problem listed above. The strange thing is, when I turn my gun side ways and fire "gangsta" style, the bolt acts normally and does not drop forward. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Your help is greatly appreciated.

My 98 Custom does the exact same thing. It's a seer or a bolt problem. Basically when you fire, the seer doesn't catch the bolt because the bolt has become rounded over time making it harder to catch so it keeps on firing.

Most of the time this can be fixed by grinding the bolt down or by buying a new bolt. I believe they're around 5$.
