On Survivor Fiji the translation of the tribal name Moto is spear what is the translation of Ravu?

The original tribe names on the show come from the native languages of the country that is hosting the episode. However, I haven't been able to find the translation for Ravu.

I see that Moto is spear on this translation page, but there is no Ravu. Maybe they made it up. I can't seem to find it in any of the translation sites. Or, it sould be shortened from another word. Hmmm?

can any1 give me ideas for my major body of work?

I'v got ideas but they're kind of everywhere.....should I do this or should I do that, i dont know.
My paintings are of african people, the traditional tribal africans. My concept is 'survival of the fittest' and I want to show how the africans have to have survival methods/skills against not only other tribes and the wildlife, but also against the western world/society.
I was thinking of having either:
1) two canvases, one of an african person with a spear and shield, and the other of a white hunter with a rifle. And then in between the canvases and next to them I wanted to have 3 pieces of cloth showing like 2 animals on either side and a tribe in the middle one.

2) four canvases telling kind of a story, the hunter, the animal and capturing the animal. And maybe have a white hunter in the background .

Plz telll me wat u think or if u have any ideas plz tell me, thanks

Do some rough drafts to help you figure it out. You'll have a visual that you can actually work with instead of just trying to see it in your head. That way you can see what's going to work and what won't. Just trying to work it up in your head can drive you nuts sometimes and actually do more harm than good. It does help a lot.

I LOVE THIS! The work isn't even done yet and people are giving it crap. Art isn't about just doing just what you know but exploring other things as well. It's called broadening your horizons and it's a good thing. I think you're doing a strong piece with something to say. Don't let what others think get in the way. Art isn't supposed to be politicaly correct! I know this part is off topic but damn, it's pretty sad when people turn against an idea that if they really stop and think about it sends a positive message not a negative one. But no, people hear just what the image is and they have to start. Do this piece!!!

I'm sorry but there is no right and wrong in art, and I feel very strongly on the issue. I've seen a lot of things I didn't agree with but didn't just try and can someone's work because of the subject. We as artists are supposed to be free thinkers, we are the ones that are supposed to see things broader and with more insite that the general public. When did we start getting so closed minded?
