Where do you get protective plastic film?

The kind that comes stuck to things so they don't get scratched in shipping like cell phone screens. The kind that will stick to clean glass without an adhesive. Like the mechanic sticks on the window with the milage for the next oil change. Where do you find that by the sheet or roll?

Check with a printer or someone who does vinyl signs. They can probably point you in the right direction as these are things some of them use.
